Rustic, Colorful Wedding at The Pavilion at Crystal Lake - Heather & Shayne

Heather and Shayne were wed at the rustic and romantic Pavilion at Crystal Lake in Middletown, CT.

Heather loves purple and wanted lots of it including pinks and mauves throughout the wedding florals. We used the most stunning cappuccino ranunculus in the bouquets as well as lots of springy blooms such as peonies, lilac, and spirea.

I loved the gazebo flowers we created for the couple's ceremony. It was the perfect frame for them as they stood at the altar

Heather and Shane are all about family and including their son in their wedding ceremony was so special.

The Pavilion on Crystal Lake is a secret little treasure tucked away in Middletown. There is a beautiful lake with sweeping lawns and a path leads you to a ceremony space right in the woods. It’s peaceful and quiet; a real nature-lover's dream.

Using lilac from my own garden was an especially nice touch to Heather & Shane’s event. The season for lilacs locally is so short so the stars aligned when we got to use them for this purple-hued wedding.
