Stephanie and Peter were wed at the romantic and fun Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville, NY.
Stephanie is actually a family member so when she met Peter we were thrilled she had found someone so kind and caring she is. Peter and Steph love to travel and family is at the heart of everything they do.
I’ve known Stephanie for at least 20 years as she’s my husband's cousin. Stephanie has a huge heart. She loves children and has devoted her life’s work as a speech pathologist.
This wedding was a cultural combo of Stephanie’s Italian and Peter’s Greek family traditions. Everything from the food to the music to the dual language ceremony; there were so many little touches that gave tribute to their heritage.
This day was so much fun because I got to design AND attend this wedding. It’s even more special to me to share my work with my family and have it be part of their special day.
The couple gave me total creative freedom to create this floating arch for their ceremony. It ended up being a stunning piece and popped against the dark stone archway of the winery.
The adorable flower girl wore her beautiful flower crown just long enough to snap a photo.
Steph and Peter are city dwellers but wanted to get married somewhere away from crowds and lights. Peter is also in wine sales so a winery was the obvious choice!
Peter and Stephanie’s looks were 100% custom. Stephanie’s dress was created by the groom’s mother who was a dedicated seamstress all her life.
Peter’s blue suit was custom created by Chookhare & Sons with a newspaper print silk liner.
Stephanie, Peter and their families spent months gathering wine bottles to use in their reception decor. They quickly learned that peeling labels off of wine bottles is a difficult job!
Stephanie and Peter's romantic and rustic wedding captured their love perfectly.
