Valerie & George were wed at the Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT.
Saybrook Point Inn offers a private ceremony spot at their marina with beautiful views of the Long Island Sound.
Valerie and George were married under a traditional Jewish chuppah constructed by the bride's father. It was completed with a beautiful crocheted covering serving as the tallis and covering the couple from the strong June sun.
While constructing this chuppah, our crew found ourselves in the middle of a rehearsal for another wedding the following evening. While working on these ground arch pieces a very nice couple was practicing their vows.
The couple sat a challenging oval shaped head table. We wanted to make sure the decor felt special but also didn’t block any of those “just married” photos. We opted for a dense runner of blue hydrangea down the center of the table to mimic the color theme but give a subtle highlight to the couples spot at the table.
Valerie and George chose a classic pale blue to match the coastal vibes of their wedding venue. Their love of blue hydrangea was seen in little moments throughout the day.
