Natalie & Denny were wed at The Woodwinds in Branford, CT on a beautiful fall day.
Natalie’s fit-and-flare gown was accompanied by the most incredible accessories including a bejeweled headpiece and a dramatic lace and pearl cape. These pieces were totally fitting with the Old Hollywood glam vibe of the event and the bride looked stunning.
Natalie wanted a very dramatic bouquet and we settled on a linear style with long stemmed white roses, palms, and fluffs of pampas grass. I love when a bride is comfortable creating something outside the box and she was so trusting of the vision I had in my head. It was one of my favorite pieces ever!
A traditional black and white palette was accented with emerald green plus pops of gold and silver for a modern but art deco feel.
Natalie tasked our team with creating a unique centerpiece for each of the reception
tables. We had over a dozen gold and glass terrariums and lanterns to create and it was so much fun getting to approach each piece, adding roses, palms, moss, and candles to make each one sparkle.
Natalie is the sister of one of my favorite photographer’s Yesenia, owner of Jessra Photography. I was so honored to be entrusted with the floral vision for her sister’s day. Yesenia and I had collaborated on some projects in the past and she knew that her sister’s over-the-top glam vision would be right up my alley.
