Nicole and Massimo wed on a cloudy, spring day at St. Clements Castle in Portland, CT. It was a perfect day for photos and photographed by one of my favorite photographers.
They really wanted a elegant, traditional look to their wedding.
St. Clements has a beautiful sunken garden for ceremonies, surrounded by lush trees and plants.
Nicole's mom had a custom bouquet wrap made from her own wedding dress.
Bridesmaids wore ecalyptus and sky blue gowns which were accented with soft pink and white flowers such as garden roses, peonies, and bubble gum pink hypericum berries.
Massimo and Nicole wanted to incorporate some candlelight into their event but this venue has a policy against real flame. We found some beautiful LED pillar candles that flickered like the real thing and placed them inside antique gold lanterns to give the space a natural glow
Nicole and Massimo's wedding exuded romance and elegance.
